Revival and Reformation

Joel Balin

Last Minute Musts:

  • VOTE: If you haven’t voted early, do so today.  Continue to encourage others to vote for godly values. Post, Re-post, text, email MyFaithVotes.org - Christian Voter Guide on how to vote biblically

  • PRAY: Pray the word. Pray for justice to prevail. Pray God’s promises. Bind and loose. Declare and command. Pray with authority. Pray in the name of Jesus. Pray in the Spirit.

  • AVOID FAKE NEWS: For God’s sake, don’t get your “news” or information from Mainstream Media, Google, Facebook, etc. Start at Tim’s Day’s X feed and go from there.

THE ELECTION AND THE  ELECT:

Unless there is such a landslide that it was “too big to rig,” we may not know the results of the election tomorrow night or maybe for weeks. Millions of people have been praying and working for righteous election outcomes. Others have spent millions of dollars and decades on indoctrination and lies. The battle in the heavens and on earth still rages.

If Trump wins, we’ll be deeply grateful that we have the beginnings of a reformation in our culture, government, institutions, and society. But, we’ll still need a revival to make sure that the reformation is founded on the only thing that sustains it, the Word, Jesus Christ. If Kamala Harris wins, we will desperately need a revival in order to have even a hope of Reformation.

We need both revival and reformation. A Harris/Walz win will suppress a reformation for America but could spark the Remnant Church to rise up to usher in revival. A Trump/Vance win will bring a reformation to America but could lure the “church” back into the complacency that has led to us abdicating our ability to truly reform culture and made the church irrelevant to society.

For revival and reformation we need the Holy Spirit, the Word, prayer, and a full revelation of the priesthood of every believer. Every person in the body of Christ needs to be fully engaged for the coming harvest.

As the uncertainty of our political future continues, no matter who wins the election, we can be certain from the unchanging Word of God of the future of the faithful, the Remnant Ecclesia. In the midst of all the predictions and speculations, we can know the bottom line that takes us over the finish line as we fearlessly stand on the rock in faith and in His Word:

  • God is working for the good in ALL things.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

  • God is for us.

If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?  Romans 8:31

When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me. Psalm 56:9

  • We have victory if we persevere.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. Romans 2:7

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12;11

  • Jesus guarantees our victory through faith

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] John 16:33 AMPC

  • Obedient faith overcomes the odds, giants, lions, armies, persecution, schemes and all the power of the devil. We have the same God who delivered Daniel, Esther, David, Gideon, Joshua, and Joseph. And the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us.

Behold—I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. And nothing will by-any-means harm you. Luke 10:19

For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies. Psalm 54:7

  • We have hope.

There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Psalm 23:18

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
