Welcome to the War

Our jaws dropped when the pastor and founder of MOST—Men Opposing Sex Trafficking—shared his story. The church sanctuary was packed with men, all gathered for their “Welcome to the War” event—a call to arms for warriors of righteousness.

He had our undivided attention as he described getting the call: a fifteen-year-old girl was being trafficked at a nearby motel. Without hesitation, he rallied a few of his elite men—former Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and Army Rangers—part of his two-dozen-strong “righteous special forces.”

They moved in, ascended to the second floor, kicked in the door, seized the trafficker—and threw him off the balcony.

Gasps echoed through the sanctuary. Men looked at one another, silently asking the same thing I was: Can they do that?

Then the pastor said matter-of-factly: “What were they gonna do—call the cops?” It was revelation.

Men today have been indoctrinated, criticized, minimized, and domesticated into silence—convinced they can’t speak boldly for righteousness, much less act on behalf of the vulnerable.

But that lie is dying.

God is raising up multi-generational special forces of Spirit-filled kingdom men—men who pray in power, speak with boldness, and act with courage.

They’re rising in movements like:

  • Wednesday Warriors

  • Full Gospel Businessmen

  • God Mobile

  • On college campuses

  • In sports, entertainment, remnant churches, and even government

They are answering the call to be:

  • Mighty Men of Valor

David’s mighty men were loyal to the king, fearless, and unlikely heroes. They stood for righteousness and risked everything for God’s causes.

Today, God is gathering men to rise with courage, unity, and conviction to be “mighty men of valour for the war.” (1 Chron 12:25)

  • Sons of Issachar These were men of deep understanding with divine strategies to bring the country back to God and His ways. We need men like these rising not just with strength, but spiritual clarity in a confused age.

“The sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do…” 1 Chronicles 12:32 NASB

Our country’s return to God and “common sense” Judeo-Christian values signals a restoration of an Issachar anointing. Men stepping up who are Spirit-sensitive, battle-ready, and Kingdom-minded. So, let’s not settle for cultural or political rebirth alone. We need a spiritual rebirth of America, or we risk returning to the same folly.

This generation needs men of:

  • Spiritual perception

  • Prophetic discernment

  • Courageous action

  • Kingdom vision

  • Prophets, Priests, and Kings Men are called to re-present Jesus in our churches, homes, communities, and country—as: → The King Who Reigns “He has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS… The government will rest on His shoulders…” Revelation 19:16, Isaiah 9:6–7 Just as Jesus reigns with righteousness and justice, men are called to be royalty, kings who lead with integrity, govern with righteousness, and use authority to protect and uplift others. → The Priest Who Intercedes

“He always lives to intercede for them…” Hebrews 7:25

Like Jesus, men are called to be spiritual shepherds—praying, carrying burdens, and drawing people near to God. Our “congregations” are our families, businesses, communities, and neighborhoods. → The Prophet Who Proclaims

"The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me… you must listen to him.” Acts 3:22

As Jesus brought piercing prophetic truth, men are commissioned to speak with clarity in confusion, call for repentance, and be a voice rooted in the truth of God’s Word—filled with hope and love.

  • Spiritual Fathers

We are living through a fatherhood crisis—physically, emotionally, and spiritually absent dads with wounded sons and daughters lacking identity and direction. It’s not just a social issue. It’s a spiritual plague.

“I will send the prophet Elijah… He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers…” Malachi 4:5–6

Without spiritual fathers, the land is struck. With them, generations are healed. We need men who carry the Father’s heart and pass it on.

The Most Astonishing Part

After they rescued the girl and threw her trafficker off the balcony, the pastor did something even more astonishing.

He walked over to her, wrapped his arms around her, and embraced her.

Again, I thought, “Can he do that?”

Surely, the last thing she wanted was to be touched by a man. But he described her reciprocal hug. She knew this touch was different. It was replacing pain, abuse, and helplessness with a fortress of comfort.

It wasn’t just his arms around her. It was the Father’s embrace—a hug that melted the ache and replaced it with peace. When he whispered, “You’re safe now,” she—and now every man in the sanctuary listening to the story—felt it: the heartbeat of a spiritual father.

Let’s rise together and encourage each other to become:

• Mighty Men of Valor • Sons of Issachar • Prophets, Priests, and Kings • Spiritual Fathers

The world is groaning for awakening. Let’s be the men who bring it.
